Dr. Maha Alhusseini completed medical school, internal medicine residency, and endocrinology
fellowship at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. She is also certified in
obesity medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. The clinical conditions she sees
include diabetes, disorders of the thyroid, the adrenal glands, and the pituitary as well as PCOS,
osteoporosis, and weight management. Dr. Alhusseini believes in individualized medicine. She
tries to work with her patients on an individual level to come up with the most optimal
treatment for them among the different therapy options available.
